TIAC is looking for an enthusiastic PHP Developer with a minimum of five years of work experience in this field.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Robust Solutions: Design, develop, and deliver large-scale SaaS software applications, incorporating new technologies and ensuring they are robust, secure, and scalable.
- Agile Methodologies: Use Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and customer-facing teams to build cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences.
- Code Quality and Standards: Participate in code reviews for both front-end and back-end applications, promote good source code management practices, and drive adoption of static and dynamic code analysis (SAST/DAST).
- Technical Leadership: Act as a technical escalation point for near-shore and off-shore engineering teams, providing guidance and technical expertise.
- Continuous Improvement: Optimize the application’s lifecycle, architecture, and tech stack over time, minimizing technical debt and enhancing overall system performance.
- CI/CD and DevOps: Collaborate with the DevOps team to improve CI/CD processes and ensure well-tested, high-quality builds.
- Problem Solving: Address complex performance problems and architectural challenges, and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Technical Oversight: Lead scope definition, requirements analysis, and technical design to ensure that delivered solutions meet both technical and functional/non-functional requirements.
- Compliance and Security: Work in environments that require adherence to HIPAA/HITECH/HITRUST/PHI/PII and PCI DSS standards, ensuring compliance and security of all solutions.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, with a solid understanding of design patterns, data structures, test-driven development, and backend systems.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with RDBMS, particularly MySQL. Must have experience with PHP, React, React Native, JavaScript, API development, Shell Scripting, GitHub, and AWS (IaaS, PaaS), as well as Nginx.
- Agile Experience: Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments, utilizing Agile methodologies to accelerate development processes.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in clinical research or healthcare technology is strongly preferred.
- Compliance Experience: Familiarity with working in HIPAA/HITECH/HITRUST/PHI/PII and PCI DSS compliant environments is a plus.
- Communication and Leadership: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
