With over 250 successful global projects, our expertise spans enabling B2B and B2B2X clients in the financial, insurance, automotive, and business management industries. Our primary focus is on ESG and Fintech solution enablement in the AssetTech, WealthTech, InsurTech, and PayTech sectors.

Our History

A group of college students, enthusiastic and passionate about software engineering started to work on side projects during their studies in the late 90s and early 2000s.
Among these students were Mita Stojić and Vlada Mandić. One of their notable projects involved a collaboration with M&I, where they had the opportunity to meet Nedja Balaban. Inspired by Nedja’s encouragement, Mita Stojić and Vlada Mandić decided to transform their vision into reality by establishing their own company. Thus, TIAC was born, marking a significant milestone in their journey from college side projects to entrepreneurial success.

When we started working, our first office space was a modest room. In that small space, we found the starting point for our business endeavors, paving the way for our much broader development and success.
During that time, many companies were neglecting the use of information technologies for their operations. Custom-made solutions were a rarity. Our vision was built on the idea of developing custom-made solutions for clients’ business needs, following the “turnkey” principle.

In the beginning, we were resistant to the outsourcing model, at that time, it seemed like a degradation of skills in software engineering. It appeared as if we were narrowing our focus solely to coding, which is just a fraction of the broader spectrum of software engineering.

However, the transition to outsourcing marked a new turning point for the further development of the company. This change opened doors to a wider range of possibilities, allowing us to diversify our focus on various aspects of software engineering and provide comprehensive solutions for our clients.

MDC is an evolutionary improvement compared to pure outsourcing. Within MDC, there is a team that is ready and eager to familiarize itself with the problem domain, not just engaging in classic outsourcing but also providing assistance in other phases of the project lifecycle.

Today, TIAC represents a prominent IT company with an impressive portfolio of over 250 successful projects and a team of more than 200 professionals. Our dedication to innovation and top-notch solutions positions us as a key player in the world of information technology.

Agile as the standard or a norm

We believe in the importance of teamwork and open communication. Software development is a human activity, and the quality of interaction within the team is crucial. Tools are a means, but the real value lies in effective collaboration and communication, regardless of the tools we use. Software engineering is a creative activity that, through tools that are serving individuals, aims to find the best solution for a specific problem. 

We believe that the essence of software development is creating working software that provides business benefits. Documentation has its role, but we must not allow it to blur the focus on the essential – functional software that solves real problems and delivers value to clients. From our experience, twenty years after the Agile Manifesto, the focus has shifted from documentation to well-functioning software. 

We believe in close collaboration with customers as a key to successful development. Listening and obtaining feedback enable us to understand the real needs and desires of customers, making them active partners in the development process. If too much emphasis is given to analyzing negative aspects, a significant amount of time may be spent on scenarios with very low chances of occurrence. Consequently, the initial trust that could be built diminishes. 

We believe that flexibility is of essential importance. Changing plans in line with the realities of software development allows us to respond faster and better to challenges. Readiness for change makes us adaptable and efficient in delivering value to clients.
